Game Night!!

 #Tryazon sent us 3 new games to try. Wheels vs Doors, Karen, and Toodles. 

Adults, teens, and kids liked participating in Wheels vs Doors and trying to figure out the answers, even if they weren't playing. 

Karen was geared for adults, and was good for some laughs!

Toodles was a lot of fun for the kids. It is hard to have two people draw with one pen!! Lots of giggles, for sure!!

Carcassonne

 We love a good game night!! And this one is near the top of our list. Super easy to learn, different every time you play, and combines simple strategy with some luck-of-the-draw. Be careful who you decide to team up with on one city, they might snatch away half your points. It was easy for my 8 year old to learn, and cna be played very collaboratively amongst the whole table, helping people find their best move on their turn!

This is a definite recommendation!....plus, it has many expansions that add interest (even though the base game is awesome on its own).

Carcassonne Game Night

Can be found at Target, Walmart, Barnes &Noble, Amazon, etc!! Try it. You won't be sad.

Deflecto Desk Organizers

 Homeschooling takes a LOT of papers, a LOT of mess, and a LOT of trying to keep it all organized. These #deflecto_llc desk organizers keep some of my desktop cleared off. 

Handy drink holder. And you can see how the bottom has a spring-clamp, so your desk width is not a problem.

The left side (wall-thing) is a nice extra storage spot. My desk isn't big enough for the file holder that I put on the front. The other pieces on the right side are pretty convenient. Alex wants to take some to work!

You'd think, with THAT many drawers....I would have a spot to put everything....BUT, I can always use more space. :) 

The "wall" is nice. I always need somewhere else to put things!

Really Loud Librarians

 If you know anything about me, you know I like games! I like trying new games, I like to play games with family and friends, I like to own lots and lots of games!

Thanks to #Tryazon and #Explodingkittens, we got to try out 3 new games this weekend. 

Throw, Throw Burrito was geared to younger kids, or people who like to throw things at other people. The burritos are made of that super soft and squishy memory foam-type stuff. Our group liked to just throw the burritos at each other, without playing the actual game!

Happy Salmon was easy to learn, best with 5-8 people (not as good with 3, even though the box says ok for 3+ people). You each have your own small deck, and try to match your card with another player, perform an action together, and throw the card. You are trying to get rid of your deck first. Fun and fast.

Really Loud Librarians was fun. At first, people thought it looked like a Ouija board, but it was an easy to learn, fast paced, entertaining game that is great for parties. Teams will have fun trying to come up with words starting with certain letters to try and make it around the board farther than the other team. Extra bonuses, and a sand timer make it exciting and intense!

Sharing games with family and friends is one of my favorite things!
